Restaurant: 5.0
- Unbelievably fun and thematic ambiance - guitar theme, live jazz music with lunch. Friendly staff. Going into this, we actually had no idea that they had live music during lunch, but this was an incredible surprise. The establishment is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. There is even an upstairs bar from which you can view the stage.
Taste: 5.0
- The ultimate smack factor! Yummmm. Smelled great, the sauce was delicious, and the cooking was perfection. There were some minor areas that lost some points.
Sauce: 4.5
- The quantity of sauce was one of the minor problems. The wings were not loaded with sauce, despite the sauce being delectable and delicious. More sauce, please!
Crispiness: 5.0
- Absolute perfection, the jazz music sounded like an angel choir as we bit into these babies. Crispy skin, moist meat. No gumminess whatsoever. What a delight.
Size & Quality: 4.5
- Another minor detractor for points: 4 flats, 6 drums. Somewhat varying in size, could have had a tiny bit more QA, but this did not overall hurt the wing score because they were so scrumptious.

Next time, try Greg’ Wings when at the Sportsmens! Not traditional as it’s a moderately spiced dry rub, but awesome. Best bet, get BOTH styles.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great! We will include Greg’s style wings once we start the Specialty Wings round of ratings. Thanks for the suggestion!
