Without further ado, we present to you our final opinion on the best classic Buffalo wing experience in WNY. For providing the best outstanding overall chicken wing along with what we found was a consistently good product was... drum roll...
Duff’s far outshined the competition. They consistently provided a traditional chicken wing that we would be proud to serve to our out-of-town family and friends. We feel Duff's properly represents a great Buffalo chicken wing. It's crystal clear that they take their chicken wings seriously and even have a process for serving consistently and excellently.
We did try 2 Duff’s restaurants: the Duff's in Orchard Park and the original Duff’s on Sheridan. Both provide outstanding wings; however, for bringing your out-of-town friends and family, we might opt for the original Duff’s because it reeks of Buffalo (...er, in a good way). Our out-of-town friends can get the full Buffalo experience there.
Another restaurant worthy of special attention was WingNutz. It's in a sketchy building that has an unidentifiable dusty odor and is almost impossible to find from the street unless you know it’s there. WingNutz also cooks a wing that is a shade left of a traditional Buffalo chicken wing. However, they were extremely good and did rank high for taste. We may not take our out-of-town friends or relatives here for the first tasting, but perhaps at a later time once they become true Buffalo wing buffs. Regardless, we feel WingNutz is certainly worth a try for chicken wing aficionados and wanted to give it a special shout-out.

Honorable Mentions
It should be mentioned that some of the other contenders that provide superior wings were:- Sportsmen’s Tavern (the most surprising underdog)
- Gabriel’s Gate
- Mr. Goodbar
- The Anchor Bar on Maple Rd
